Grad Party part l

I finally got around to blogging about the party!
It took a while to set up a party so I can be late blogging about it right? :)
After we got all of the decorations set up T and I took a break while we waited for people to arrive.

Each table had a set up like this but all of the pictures were different.

We also had lots of chocolate!
You can't have a Kalebaugh party without it!

More decorations...

... and even more decorations!

People are starting to arrive!

Beck and Grandpa S.

Rach and Zoe writing notes.
Even Joy wrote one.
Grandpa and Hoppy (Hiram).
Wolfgang helped Dad do all of the grilling.
You can't read Dad's apron very well but it says: Road Kill Grill. It also has a whole bunch of weird recipes.
Aunt Louise and Aunt T.
Grandma Ev made it!
Here I am with the Waasdorp girls you might recognize them from other posts... :)
Grandma Margie and Mom.
For some reason I had to go first in the food line!
There was so many good salads that we almost didn't have enough room for the meat!
Me and my diploma!
Everyone wanted to share in the fun of seeing it!
My Uncle Ron asked to pray a blessing on me at the end.
Look at my special family!
(I think this is the best family photo we have ever taken!)

Although this one is more of the traditional Kalebaugh photo... Everyone off in their own little world!

Beads

Last Friday the Twins and I went to a beading party at the Waasdorp's house.

We started off with a taco lunch. Since there were only girls we had a bunch of left-overs! (If any of the girls brothers had been there they would have been ashamed!)

Melody has been making jewelry for a long time so she helped us all get started.

We each got a bag of beads to choose from. Every bag was a little different so we traded with each other.

Me and Jess R.

Amber M.

Bristol, and Wraya W. Zoe Z.

Mrs. Hemmer kept us all rolling. Thankfully she had a lot of patience because we took a really long time deciding how to make our necklaces.

Melody . Lydia, and Christen S.

Rachel was one of the first girls to finish. Here is the necklace that she made for my mom.

Faith had a hard time deciding what she wanted her necklace to look like so she helped everyone by adding a crimp bead to finish it off. After everyone finished their necklace it was time to sort the beads.
I couldn't concentrate on sorting beads so I took pictures!
Poor Yancy he was the only boy! Here is my necklace!
I was really pleased with the way it turned out!
Didn't we do a great job?
We all had fun seeing how different our finished product turned out!
It had been a really long time since we had seen some of the girls. Unfortunately we were concentrating so much we didn't get to do much talking!
The girls!
What is a blog post with out a picture of Rachel being weird?

Decorations

Before the big ta-do this past weekend we had fun making the decorations.
These were tissue paper flowers that we hung on the ceiling.
But they work great as pom-poms!
We burned the edges off of some old music pages and used it as a place mat for the decorations. It looked so cool to watch the music burn!
I took a ton of pictures but I won't bore you with all of them because they all end up looking the same!

Mom filled the picture frames. I think she teared up a couple times!

We made paper mache for the music balls. Ordinary glue didn't seem to work.
They look really gross at first but I really liked how they turned out!

We made a bunch of hanging flowers and we had everybody helping.
This is Drena's 'Crystal stop taking pictures of me' look!
I match the flower!
We had several different colors to choose from so we had a neat variety of flowers!
Aw, a baby one!
