Yet another shopping day! :)

To celebrate my birthday we had a family day last Friday! So we went to do some of my favorite things : a movie, and shopping! (Oh, and lunch too!)
First off we went to see City of Embers. The Twins picked it out. I don't like to know about a movie before I go see it so I let the rest of my family look into it.
I was a fun movie and I really enjoyed it!
(I won't try to tell you what it was about because I'm terrible at that!)

Next we went to Olive Garden! :p It was really yummy!
While we waited for our food to come we got some pictures.
I know you never see these... lol

Sisters... I feel a song coming on!

After stuffing ourselves we went to the mall where I made my family shop until they dropped! I love looking at just about everything. :) Not to mention there were some really good sales going on that day!

At the mall they had a pet shop with some adorable puppies!

I wonder if Taffie looked like this when she was a puppy?

After the mall we stopped at Hobby Lobby to look at beads. After that we were all exhausted and the Twins said they would have went on strike if we had to go to any more stores. :) So after that we went home.

Thanks guys for a great day! You really know how to make me feel special! :D

Supper and a Birthday party. :)

Sunday after a busy morning we went over to the Zigler's house with some of the Refugees for supper and what I found out to be a birthday party! It seems the email that I accidentally read about not being able to make it to the party on Sunday was true and it was about me!

Ziglers had felt bad about not being at Bible Study on my birthday so they decided to have us over for supper and then a bunch more friends were invited too for a fun evening!

We started the afternoon with a walk in the woods behind the Zigler's home.

My adorable niece! Devyn.

During the walk we would go so far and then make it to a clearing where everyone would just stop and talk and then finally get going again. I was really rather funny to see this happen three or four times when with about thirty people!

I was rather fun to take pictures because every one's colors looked really fun together!

After our walk Reid got out this horn. It has the weirdest sound. Something like a dieing cow and a trumpet. :)

Kaleb was adorable he kept hiding from people! And with his camo on he did really good!

You've heard of 'four eyes' what about 'four arms'?
It was a gorgeous day to be outside and this tree swing was just perfect for the day!
You've heard of a Zoe and Gab are inseparable and on Sunday night they were gong to prove it. So they tied their legs together.Well then I joined them, and Reid I joined and Christian joined and Dawn joined and Tosca and Wraya and Molly and Becky and even Kaleb.
It was like a giant three legged race just with a bunch more people and thankfully we didn't have to race anyone!

We didn't do that bad once we got the hang of it. Well then again we never did get the hang of it but it was fun! We walked up the hill into the Zigler's house where we all tripped and fell over on the floor. It was a rather sight to behold! Then everyone sang Happy Birthday.

Aunt T made cupcakes. :P

Ummm... They are trying to warm their tongues by the fire.
Alright my friends are nuts and very easily influenced by each other but I am glad to have people in my life who can make me laugh so easily and I am glad that they enjoy the simple things of life!
Alright I kind of took the night off and didn't get pictures of everything that we did but maybe I can steal some pictures from everyone else's blogs in the next couple days and post some more pictures!

It is so fun to be loved by so many people! I felt weird being the Birthday Girl but it is nice to be appreciated.

Thanks Zigler's for setting time aside to make me feel special!

Pizza Night :p

On Monday night we had a pizza party at the Deet's house! Drena had recently had an addition added to the house and hadn't had a chance to show it off yet. So why not have a fun night and show off the new rooms? :)

Beck and I made the pizza we made two taco, a pepperoni, a meat lovers, and an everything. :P And they turned out really yummy!

I know, I know, your mouths are probably watering by now! lol

After eating the kids decided to go and jump on the trampoline. (I didn't think that sounded like much fun after eating a whole bunch of pizza)

And Joy and Hoppy (Hiram) decided to play with Dooley.

Dooley is great with little kids.

Some dogs don't really like little kids and you have to keep an eye on them when a little one comes around but Dooley just peacefully soaked up all the attention that they gave him and we didn't have to worry about them playing together!

We had fun taking pictures mid air jumps or falls here are just a couple.

The girls blank faces as they fall just seems really funny to me!

Hoppy loves to explore, everything.
Full friends. :)

The "mature" ones of the group enjoyed sitting around the table talking.

Lauren and Mom had been at a seminar that day. The speaker had talked about introverts and extroverts. Mom and Lauren are both extroverts and they were laughing at how funny it was that they were both married to introverts. So when they got to the Deet's home they were teasing their husbands about it. After a while Dad and Wolfgang decided that they had been teased enough so they went into the family room and pouted!
Don't they looked nice all dressed up?
I think they had a really fun time spending the day together.
Before Kathrin left to go home to Germany we really wanted to get a picture with her. This is Kathrin's cheesy American grin. (Long story!)
The Ballet look!

Thanks Drena for a really fun evening!

Pudgy pies!

Last Saturday we went to the campground to join some friends who were making pudgy pies for supper.
But before we went to eat and relax we decided to go help the Rogers do some work so we chopped wood!
(No I didn't let the Twins use the chain saw. I was to afraid that they would hurt themselves!)

Dad trying to show off his muscles by throwing wood around. :)
Mr. Rogers came down to help us get set up and I don't know if we distracted him from his work in the store or if he distracted us from chopping wood. All I know is that we enjoyed getting to talk to him! (He works so much that it is hard to see he him sometimes!)

We might all be smiling in the pictures. But it was hard doing that all of the time because the Asian beetles were terrible inside and outside!

After working up an appetite from chopping wood... OK I didn't chop any wood. They didn't need me so I took pictures. You're shocked aren't you? ... We joined Lauren, Kathrin, and Wolfgang, along with the Lee family making pudgy pies for dinner.

The hungry men.

Kaleb's adorable smile.

Where did this puddle come from?

It was really funny watching everyone try and keep away from this puddle that night!

Another heart warming smile!
Time to eat!
It took a while for sixteen people to eat with only two pie makers. But we were all talking while we waited to eat so the time went by really fast!
Everyone wanted a turn to play on the computer. I think Polar Bowler was the fun game of the evening.

For supper we made pizza pies and here are the choices we had for our dessert pies! :P
The group all filled up!

To finish the evening Beck and I got our hair cut!
But I guess you already knew about that! ;)

Hair cuts

On Saturday night Becky and I got a hair cut!
We asked Dawn L. from church to do them. She does a great job!Look at the big difference in length and thickness of our hair. I think Beck has more than me!

While Rachel was trying to take my picture I accidentally kept blinking. So this time I tried really hard to keep my eyes open!Would you believe I got over four inches cut off? It is such a natural fit that I can hardly tell that I got that much taken off!

Jordan was trying to keep his Mom from being distracted while she cut hair.
I was really funny having a small crowd while we got it done!
Becky hasn't even looked at her hair and she already knows that she loves it!

So what do you think?

All done!

We still have to get a picture of us once we have styled our hair but I keep forgetting to take one. :)

Spreading her hair for the birds to make a nest out of.

Thanks Dawn we love the new looks!
