Day 2

Hey everybody this is Crystal signing into the Kalebaugh blog!
Just thought I'd stop by and say what the Twins and I have been up to the last couple days so my parents don't feel like they are so far away from us while they are on vacation! (How's that for a fun on sentence ;)
Well yesterday started with my being at work... Then us ladies had a very quiet and lazy afternoon! :) Followed a most wonderful even with our friends the Hemmers! They made us a wonderful Thai meal! :P And we spent the majority of the evening talking! (imagine that :) Once we got home we watched a very cute movie about a dad and his daughter called Imagine that! It was quite funny and I would definitely give it a thumbs up! :)
Today we got up and attended church at the Refuge. We tried to fill in the empty seats of those vacationing but it was not easy! Just know that you guys are missed! :) After church we spent the afternoon with my Grandpa! We took him for a drive! He was quite excited and seemed have a very enjoyable time! Now we're home doing chores and preparing to leave to go and see our favorite brother (well our only brother) and his family!
Well that's about it! Not a very exciting post but that is because we are stuck in the fog and slush while others of us are off enjoying the sunshine and beauty of someplace else! Hope you guys are having fun! Miss you!
This is Crystal signing off!

:) Schoolwork/quotes

Well, lately the biggest thing going on in our lives has
been schoolwork. Dad's doing it, we're doing it, mom's
grading it, and Crystal is free as a bird :/

But anyway, I've been working on a project for school
and had to read "The Wanderer" and "The Seafarer", both
Old English poems. So, I got some translations to make it
easier to understand, but here are some quotes from each
that I thought were pretty neat.

Good, he who keeps faith, nor too quickly his grief from his
breast makes known, except he, noble, knows how beforehand
to do cure with courage. Well will it be to him who seeks favor,
refuge, and comfort, from the Father in heaven, where all
fastness stands. [113-117] ~The Wanderer~

Let us consider where our true home is; and then let us think
how to come thither; and then also strive that we may indeed
come there, into the blessedness there everlasting, where life
is long in love of God, hope in the heavens. So, to the Holy One,
thanks that he honored us, master of Glory, God of Eternity, in
all our time. [117-124] ~The Seafarer~

There were a whole lot more that I found, but these were the
first two quotes that I used so these were the ones that I put
up here ;) Hope you enjoyed them!!
Oh, by the way, HAPPY JANUARY!!!
